Sambal is a kinda condiment, as long as with Bird's Eye Chili Pepper (Chili padi) or cabe rawit in Indonesian, then it is sambal.
Ingredients:
1/2 piece of cabbage (cut pieces and boiled)
Sambal ingredients:
2 spoons of sambal oelek (you can buy it in every Asia shop)
3 tomatoes (cut small pieces or blend if you like)
1 onion (cut small pieces or blend if you like)
2 cloves of garlic (grind them)
1 ts chicken broth
2 ts sugar
1 lemon (juice)
oil for the pan
How to cook!
- Prepare the boiled cabbage on the plate
- Put some oil into the pan and then fry the cut onion and tomatoes together
- Put the garlic into sambal oelek
- Chicken broth and sugar inside
- Try it if you like it. You can put more sambal oelek if you like it spicier
- Pour the lemon juice inside (Tamarind juice is the best, but you can use lemon juice if you can't get it)
